WOE UNTO LIARS

“God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;” – Romans 3:4a

EVERY MAN IS A LIAR. That is not a matter of opinion; that is the Scriptural truth conveyed in the above verse. Yet, it must be noted, though only one lie is enough to send a man to hell for eternity, all liars are not created equal. There is a great deal of difference between one who seldom has lied, and at each instance felt much shame and remorse; and one who lies at every opportunity without compunction, and fires arrows of self-righteousness into the breasts of those who would expose his duplicity.

If you are reading this article, you know if you are one who feels shame over lies, or one who lies whenever it suits him. I address this to those who fall into that second category, to those shameless deceivers whose lying lips are an abomination to the Lord. Do not pretend you do not know that you lie. You know it very well. And you are contemptible for doing so, for there is nothing so despicable as deception. Satan is the father of all liars (John 8:44). Do you enjoy pleasing Satan? That is what you do, when you LIE.

I spend time enough on this website rebuking devilish cults and their odious false doctrines. One deception is no less abominable in the sight of God than another. Therefore, I think it proper to now attack a sin which every hypocrite – something all liars must necessarily be – pretends to abhor – the sin of lying. See here. You applaud the rebuke of Satanic cults like Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism for their bizarre perversions and abominable deceptions, yet you see no issue in lying to another’s face. Of course, you will be offended if someone dares to mislead you. But then, when you deceive another, it is a small matter. Bah! What nonsense. You have no right to be outraged over another’s lies, when you yourself lie through your teeth, and would deceive them when the opportunity first presented itself. Neither do you make any efforts to curtail this detestable vice, for instead of admitting your wickedness, you scrabble for reasons which, you think, will justify your falsehoods. “Oh, but other people lie all the time.” Do other people put a loaded gun to your head, and force you to lie? I seriously doubt it. No, do not give me that pathetic excuse. Do not give me any pathetic excuses. I do not want to hear them. I will not hear them. Do not dare to blame others for your own wicked choices. You are a LIAR, and you would be a LIAR, whether “other people” were liars, or not. You can point to the godless hellhole of a society which we inhabit, and claim its degenerate “standards” permit lying, but you cannot find any promotion of such wickedness in the Word of God. “THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS”. There are no ifs, ands, or buts. “THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS”. Nothing can be said against this. Rather than criticizing others for their lies, hypocrite, perhaps you would do better to first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, before reaching for the mote that is in another’s eye.

“Well,” you say, “nobody’s perfect.” Oh, please. Perfection has nothing to do with principles. One does not need to be “perfect” to have integrity. One does not need to be “perfect” to be honest. “Stop judging me,” you squirm. “Jesus said don’t judge.” If you are so interested in what Jesus said, you should be familiar with John 7:24, where Jesus commanded to “JUDGE RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT.” But I doubt you are seriously interested what Jesus said, for to hypocrites like yourself “Jesus” is not the Son of God who paid for the world’s sins with his blood and rose again, but rather a tool by which you can bolster yourselves at the expense of others. This is wickedness. It is wickedness for which you must answer, when the day comes for all – including lying hypocrites like yourself – to stand before God Almighty. “Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement”. I seriously doubt your pitiful excuses for your inexorable deception will dissuade the righteous fury of Jehovah. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
